Parents, please let me know if you ever have any questions or concerns. My conference time is from 9:20-10:30. You may call the office to schedule a conference, 936-709-1800

Our daily schedule is as follows:

8:45-9:20 AMP! (Achieving My Potential)
9:20-10:30 FA/PE
10:30-12:05 LA/ Writing
12:05-12:35 Lunch
12:35-2:10 Math
2:10-3:45 Science
3:45 Begin dismissal

As a Learning Community we have the following rules:
1. Be respectful
2. Be responsible
3. Be prepared
4. Listen and follow directions
5. Participate

Possible Consequences for not following the rules:
* Redirect
1 mark- warning
2 marks- conference with student
3 marks- phone call to parent
4 marks- lunch detention
5 marks- after school detention
6 marks- office referral

Items to look for during the week:

Tuesday Folder- A black Tuesday Folder will be sent home every Tuesday for you to look at, sign, and return. It will contain important handouts, graded papers, and conduct grades from the previous week.

Homework- Homework is passed out every Monday. If your child is absent on Monday they are responsible for asking for the homework. It is due on Friday.    

For fun:

Book Orders from Scholastic- Flyers are available to all students monthly. If they wish to order, please send the completed form along with the proper total. You may also purchase the books online with a credit card. For every parent order online scholastic will give our class $3. All you have to do is enter our class access code when you checkout: GTTVF


Class library- I have put together a class library for the students to use. They are allowed to check out one book at a time in addition to their 2 school library books. I am constantly adding new titles for them to enjoy. If you would like to donate any used books to the collection we would be very grateful.

Traveling Sam- Feel free to take Sam on your vacation. He needs to come back with a picture and a postcard describing his trip.
